Sweden gradually facing up to rural-urban migration as the country's
villages or smaller settlement areas is facing hard time with smaller
businesses.
A new report suggests that the closure of village shops in the country
is a disaster for rural development. This comes from an investigation
that is being presented today where four out of ten rural traders are
not confident that they will be around in five years.

One of the strongest reasons for this is the rural - urban migration
of the younger population. As such, an increasing number of village
shops seeing their business crumbly gradually and it is feared that
this fall will accelerate in the coming years. Time is coming when
there will be abandoned houses and villages and rural settlements
littering around in Sweden just as seen in the USA.
