Robberies on the rise in Sweden as some two robberies occur everyday

There is the explosion of robberies in Sweden and as compared to other crimes, the police is reported to be able to handle the relatively large number of robberies, according to a new report from the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brottsförebyggande rådet - Brå).
After record levels of robberies in 2008, store robberies have declined in recent years, in addition the often-violent robberies on jewellery shops, that has increased dramatically.
Nevertheless, at the same time, there are many such criminalities that is forced to be closed by the police but which would have been solve.
Last year, 736 robberies were reported, that means each day on average two stores robbed around the country. The criminals are often not so many, but the staff involved could usually suffer from various including trauma. Have the police been doing much to solve these crimes? According to Brå many other crimes that have been investigated, there is a large percentage that are cleared up, around 30 percent.
The Swedish Federation of Trade wants the police to work more to increase the prevention or try to stop the robberies before they happen.
