Sweden donates Skr150 million in economic relief aid to Syria

Sweden will donate 150 million in emergency assistance to Syria, the country's government representative Economic aid minister, Gunilla Carlsson (pictured below) will say at a conference in Kuwait.
As the civil war in that country rages on for close to two year now, and with more refugees being received in places such as Jordan, and other border countries such as Iran and Turkey, there has been calls for assistance and donation to assist the flock of vulnerable people arriving the refugee camps there.
Today, together politicians from across the world meet the UN chief, Ban Ki-Moon in Kuwait in a bid to raise money for humanitarian efforts in Syria. This is why sweden has pledged to donate Skr150 million for the course according to Gunillar Carlsson (pictured above).
"We urge other countries to do more. We are one of the major individual donors," she said to Swedish television breakfast program "Gomorron" good morning, Sweden.
