Swedish food industry suffers from fall in confidence

After the horse meat incidents in which horse meat has been sold as beef confidence in Swedish food industry has plummeted.
According to a survey carried out by the Swedish food safety authority, Livsmedelsföretagen published today one-third of respondents claim to have little confidence in the food industry.
Six out of ten Swedes say they are willing to pay more for food in the future to ensure quality and sustainable food production.
A large majority thinks the Swedish produced food quality today has a high quality, the survey shows.
