Swedish Inflation rate falls to 0.4 percent

The Swedish inflation rate was 0.4 percent in September 2012, down from 0.7 percent in August.
The Swedish Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.4 percent from August to September 2012 compared with 0.7 percent increase from August to September 2011, official data from statistic Sweden show
Higher prices for clothing and footwear (9.4 percent) contributed upwards by 0.5 percentage points to the increase from August to September. Higher prices for fuels (1.2 percent) contributed upwards by 0.1 percentage point.
Lower interest costs for owner occupied housing (-4.5 percent) counteracted the increase and contributed downwards by 0.2 percentage points.
The inflation rate according to CPIF was 0.9 percent in September 2012. CPIF increased by 0.7 percent from August to September 2012 (0.7 percent increase from August to September 2011).
HICP increased by 0.7 percent from August 2012 to September 2012 and increased by 1.0 percent since September of 2011.
