Staffing company, Poolia sounds profit warning

Staffing firm Poolia warned that revenue in the fourth quarter would be lower than expected, due to the current recession with weak demand for its services, a statement from the company say, according to news reports.

"Combined with the restructuring will result in the Poolia operating income for the fourth quarter to substantially be different from the market's expectation, "writes Poolia according to media reports.

This weak trend is reported to hit Poolia Sweden more. The company, at the beginning of the second quarter has started a savings and restructuring program designed to reduce costs and increase profitability. Poolia now need to make further savings, including reduction in its own work force.

Polia believes that operating income in the fourth quarter, including restructuring charges, will amount to approximately Skr-25 to Skr-30 million at Group level. The restructuring costs include Skr10 million non-cash.
