Swedish house prices already defined as over valued will never stop
rising further. New house market review show how real estate prices in
Sweden continue to rise, especially in the Stockholm and Gothenburg
areas.
Here, the urban sprawls of the country, house prices have never
been as high as now though it was reported recently to have had a more
moderate growth rate.
Prices of condominiums rose 4 percent in three months and 11 percent
with the past twelve months. In the last month, prices have largely
remained unchanged.
House prices rose by a more modest 1 percent in the last three months and 2 percent within the past twelve months.
"We have a stronger market for condominiums than for normal houses,"
says Ingrid Eiken, CEO Real Estate organisation, Mäklarsamfundet.
The number of houses and condominiums sold were slightly higher in
February to April this year compared to the same period last year.
Mäklarstatistik, the organisation that provide market data has
attributed the increase to seasonal variation. Looking at the prices of
homes, like the last twelve months, it's virtually static in the
country as a whole.
But in the Stockholm County, the average price today stand at Skr1 874
000. It is considerably cheaper to get a cottages in Örebro and
Gävleborg where average prices are Skr771 000 and Skr798 000
respectively.
