Volvo Trucks is cutting down its agency workers with 260 in its Tuve plant in Gothenburg and 90 at the cab factory in Umeå.
In both cases, the cutbacks are blamed for the fall in demand. At the Tuve plant, the news that most of the 300 worker who were taken from the employment agencies earlier this year were forced to quit.
In Umeå, it also means that the factory there will no longer have any staffing employees from employment agency, Lernia as the remaining 58 had to go in September.
