SEB chief rewarded with an extra one million

Friday, 01 March 2013
SEB chief, Annika Falkengren, can look back on a good year, both for her Bank and for her personal finance. Her annual salary was increased by a Skr1 million to Skr8 million, which represents a premium of 14 percent, according to the annual report.
On top of that, she benefits from a home and a car, worth over Skr1.2 million. In addition, she enjoyed a share bonus worth Skr4.5 million.

"Annika Falkengren has had an unchanged base salary since 2007. The increase we have made corresponding to the average wage increase in the bank over the years, "said SEB Chairman Marcus Wallenberg.

"From the board side, we are very pleased with the performance of the Bank and the way Annika Falkengren has positioned the bank for a period of major challenges in the world, "he continues.
