Obesity affects employment prospect and employee performances
Monday, 05 November 2012Obesity makes it more difficult for such people affected to get a job, a new research shows.
According to Swedish media reports, Employers choose largely to cut out applicants who are obese, probably out of fear that they will not be sufficiently productive, according to Per Johansson, one of the researchers behind the report.
"My opinion is that really fat person, a guy within the 120-kg class, often perform worse as they often have poorer health than a slimmer person," says a manager who has chosen to not hire obese persons, reports Swedish media sources.
