There has been the fight between those who accepted and those who rejected that the global climate was changing. Today there is documented evidence that there is global warming here.

The doubters blamed lack of proper evidence insisting that weather pattern changes were a myth. Now there is clearer evidence that polar ice is meting faster than previously though and it is impacting the level of the seas.
On Thursday experts published a peer-reviewed study they say puts to rest the debate over whether the poles added to, or subtracted from, sea level rise over the last two decades.
