The Rausing family "deeply shocked" by the death of their dear one

US national Eva Rausing, 48, a member of the family behind the Tetra-Pak cartons empire, was found dead at Cadogan Place, Belgravia, London on Monday.

The BBC reports that they understood a man was arrested in connection with the death and on suspicion of possessing drugs is her husband Hans Kristian Rausing, 49.

The Rausing family presented on Tuesday evening a statement on the death of Eva Rausing according to Swedish media-
"Hans and Margaret Rausing, and their family, are deeply shocked and saddened by the news of their daughter, Eva Louise Rausing's tragic death. They ask for their their privacy to be respected at this sad time. "

Even Eva Rausing family in the United States made an official statement on Tuesday evening:
"Tom and Nancy Kemeny, and the whole family; is deeply saddened by the death of their beloved daughter, Eva Louise Rausing. Eva has been a devoted wife for twenty years and mother of four very dear and wonderful children.

During her short lifetime, she has acted extensively in various philanthropic deeds and has supported a large number of charitable causes, not only financially, but with her own personal experiences.  She fought bravely with her health problems for many years. The family is devastated over her death and would appeal to be left alone at this difficult time. "

The BBC report that a post-mortem examination at Westminster Mortuary did not establish how Mrs Rausing died and further tests are being carried out.
The British Metropolitan police said officers from its Homicide and Serious Crime Command were investigating her death.

Police said they searched the address and found the body after making a drugs arrest on Monday, said the BBC.

The large terraced house is in one of London's most expensive areas just off Sloane Street, between Knightsbridge and Chelsea.

The family is one of Britain's richest. Hans Kristian Rausing, the son and heir Hans Rausing - whose father Ruben in Sweden founded the Tetra Pak empire - with an estimated fortune of 5.4 billion British pounds, around Skr59 billion.
