Swedish Social Democrats passes the government rival, Moderates in new opinion poll

Had there been a general election today, the Social Democrats would receive most votes. For the first time since the 2010 election the Social Democrats are now larger than the Conservatives, according to polling organisation Demoskop voters’ barometer for April.

The Social Democrats would wins 34.1 percent in the votes while the Moderates would lose 3 percentage points in a month, and end up at 29.9 percent.

“This shows that we are getting our policies correct in recent months, says Social Democrats party secretary,  Carin Jämtin  to the paper that commissioned the poll, tabloid Expressen.
