Sony Centre in Sweden goes bankrupt as competition in the Swedish electronic sector claims another victim

The fierce competition in the Swedish electronic commerce has claimed yet another victim as a dealer of a big name goes down.

The chain that sells Sony products in Sweden went bankrupt last week, according to Swedish business daily, Dagens Industri.
The companies that that operate the four Sony Centre and stores in Stockholm, Nacka, Malmö and Helsgingborg have all gone bankrupt, the paper say. Approximately 20 employees will lose their jobs.

In Norway, two Sony centre will also close. Bankruptcy sales started over the weekend and so far it has concentrated in stores in Stockholm and Malmö.

Sony centres going down follow the fall of Swedish electronic dealers such as ONOFF, Experts among others. It should also be noted that Sony has struggled in recent months facing intense competition from the Likes of Koreans LG and Samsung.
