Saab automobile still in the News as one last one sold big at auction
Wednesday, 10 April 2013Saab automobile cars are still making wave in the market despite the fact that the company that use to make them has been wiped out of the corporate world.
People still like the cars though, as one last one Saab 9-3 X sold for Skr13 million. This is the very last Saab car that rolled out of the factory in Trollhattan - a white Saab 9-3 X and it ended up in Lithuania.
It was Saab's bankruptcy estate that sold out a total of 78 Saab cars, mostly those that may not have to be driven on public roads. The auction ended on 3 April and since then the auction house has been working to deliver the cars.

"There was a great deal of international interest in the cars, most of the buyers came from Europe, and of those most were from Holland and Germany, "says Day Thyselius, info and PR manager at KVD the company that carried out the aution.
The full auction yielded about Skr13 million. The most expensive was a Saab 9-4X Suv which was sold for Skr364,000.
A car that was registered in Sweden and could be driven from the scene was the last Saab car, the white Saab 9-3X which was the last car to leave the factory in Trollhättan in June 2011. It was called in by a Lithuanian buyers who paid Skr253,000.
The minimum bid - Skr80,000 - was given for a Saab 9-5 Aero Turbo 6 Sport Sedan.
