Nokia launches budget QWERTY keypad phone
Wednesday, 24 April 2013Nokia launched a new set of phones, the Asha 210 on Wednesday which features a standard QWERTY keypad and what the company says is the first-ever shortcut key to the networking and messaging application WhatsApp.
As expected, the latest handset in Nokia's budget-priced Asha series comes with the QWERTY keypad familiar from standard computer keyboards.
According to Nokia, it is also the first handset with a shortcut key to the popular WhatsApp messaging application.
The Asha 210 is being released in both single and dual SIM card versions.
Nokia plans to begin deliveries of the handsets during the second quarter of this year. The company's inexpensive Asha phones are primarily aimed at emerging markets.
