Last minute rescue as new owner takes over bankrupts Nimbus
Wednesday, 19 September 2012Luxury boat manufacturer Nimbus has had a new owner as Investment Company, R12, stepped up in the last minute to take over the company on Monday night.
Swedish media report that the agreement was that R12 becomes the new majority owner of Nimbus and Paragon. Earlier, it was clear that the company Ryds marine industry, also part of the Nimbus Group, had a new owner.
We could not undependably verify the existence of R12, we have not been able to undependably verify the background of the company.
However, Swedish media source, TT reports that R12 is a Swedish investment company run by owners Per Hesselmark and Hans Ramel. The company's largest shareholder is Robert af Jochnick along with his three sons. R12's investment activities are focused on Scandinavia, but also the rest of Europe is eligible for such additional investment, the company, R12 wrote.
