Ikea plans to create 75000 jobs
Tuesday, 22 January 2013Swedish furniture giant Ikea, is reported to be expecting to create up to 75,000 jobs within the next few years, including 1000 in Sweden.
According to Swedish media reports, CEO Mikael Ohlsson told the business daily Dagens Industri that Ikea expects to open up to 25 new super shops a year and mentions South Korea, Croatia, Serbia, as new markets.
According to Ikea's annual report for the fiscal year ended Aug. 31, the company increased its profit by four percent and reached a record level of Skr34 billion.
