Decline in Swedish business formation as the weak economy kill sentiments
Friday, 01 February 2013Business creation in Sweden has fallen as the weak economic climate means that business creation perception has weakened.
According to new data from the Swedish company registration office, Bolagsverket the number of newly registered companies in January this year fell to 6,491, down from 7,256 in January last year. This represents a fall of 10.5 percent.
For limited companies, the decline was 8.3 percent compared to January of last year, while for the self-employed (Sole traders) the fall was 20.6 percent.
