483 Danish companies into bankruptcy in March

In March, 483 companies went bankrupt in Denmark. This represents an increase of 5 percent compared with the same month last year.

But when compared with the first quarter of 2012 with 2013, the level is about the same with about 1,380 bankruptcies. This puts bankruptcies in Denmark far higher than before the economic crisis struck.

According to the Danish Chamber of commerce many companies are operating on the brink or at an elevated bankruptcy level.
