Sony to cut 10,000 jobs globally but not known how many would go in Sweden

Sony is reported to have been doing away with 10,000 posts, about 6
percent of its global work force, reports the Japanese newspaper Nikkei.
The cuts are explained by the new chief executive Kazuo Hirai who
stressed that he must take action quickly in the hope that the
electronics giant to reach plus some positive numbers again. Sony has
been making losses for the past four years.
Where the cuts would fall remain unclear. In Sweden, Sony Mobile has 2500 employees based in Lund, Southern Sweden.
