Job market sensitisation from the Swedish employment authority

The Swedish employment service is carrying out sensitisation of unemployed person with background other than Swedish or European. They are the most repudiated in the job market as such the job board thinks they can provide this group of people with various forms of support.

The message goes thus
"Do you have a refugee residence permit? Or are you staying with a relative in Sweden who has had a refugee residence permit for no longer than two years? You may be one of the people covered by the law on introduction activities for certain newly-arrived immigrants."

The organisation has been criticised for not doing much to assist those seeking work and as the Swedish job market become more connection-related rather that competitive and open, the organisation is under pressure to expose people of immigrant background who have little connections with the Swedish employers.
