The deadline for Saab automobile bid today
Tuesday, 10 April 2012
Today is a milestone for Saab Automobile's trip through bankruptcy as
the stakeholders that want to buy the estate must submit their final
bids today.
Repost hold that a handful of interest groups made up of the Chinese
Youngman, and Indian Mahindra are front runners to take the battered
company and could turn it back to a real company making real cars.
What is known today is that Saab automobile owe debts to the tone of
about Skr12 to Skr13 billion. It is not clear whether those interest
have now changed their minds after the debt levels of Saab was
disclosed last week. What ever the case, the Saab situation will
be known soon.
Lastly, many creditors are likely to go empty-handed because the company’s debts far exceed their assets.
