Swedish companies harbour Poor knowledge of the EU internal market

Swedish companies do not know what rights they have on the EU internal market, according to a survey carried out by the Swedish Board of Trade also known as Kommerskollegium.

72 percent of the companies surveyed say in a business survey that they did not know their rights and a third of companies do not know where to turn to for information. The study is based on 500 Swedish companies’ interviewed.

62 percent did not, for example know that they did not have to be established in another country to participate in a public contract.
