Jump in Danish Inflation
Friday, 10 February 2012Consumer prices index (CPI)in Denmark rose 0.3 percent in January from the previous month. Compared with the same month one year earlier, prices rose 2.8 percent.
Statistic Denmark made the announcement contrasting forecast which had expected CPI to have risen 0.2 percent from the previous month, increasing by 2.6 percent compared to 2011.
In December, the CPI remained unchanged from the previous month and rose by 2.5 percent over the same month last year.
