Aalto
University, Finland has been recently classified as the best training
institute for economics and degree programs in engineering, according
to investigation carried out in the country’s institutions recently.
The
newspapers, Talouselämä commissioned the investigation which also
showed that Aalto heads the comparison thanks to its great attraction,
its reputation and its high graduate earnings.
Swedish
School of Economics in Helsinki came second with the highest rating in
the commercial sciences, and the third ranked business school was that
of University of Turku (Åbo). Worst in the school classification
comparison came the Business School at the University of Oulu.
Relating
to international profile and fund-raising Åbo University fared best
among all Finnish Universities. In relation to the technical strength,
Åbo University came second.
This
is the first tine the Business newspaper, Talouselämä has made this
comparison, the first of its kind, based on 12 points for
business sciences and 10 for Engineering Sciences.
