This is made possible with help of banks’ mobile apps which the four
major banks, Handelsbanken, SEB, Swedbank and Nordea have adopted
during the past six months. They found that they have more logins on
mobile phones than on the computer.
The number of mobile banking customers is growing rapidly, but there is
still more banking customers who only use the traditional internet
banking. One explanation for the growth of mobile banking
customers has to do with changing behaviour with the growth of more
computer – like mobile devised assisted with mobile apps. It also
is easier and quicker to log into an account and it is accessible at
all times
Therefore having a good mobile device is vary important as Christian Clausen, CEO of Nordea explains to radio Sweden
“It is quite important and I know that our customers appreciate it very
much. It is important to make it more efficient, but also for customers
to do their things right in the moment they want to.”
Bank apps have different security solutions such as code, bank box or
mobile banking id, depending on whether one just want to check their
balances or want to pay a bills.
