In a previous calculation the decline was underestimated in which the Finnish GDP in April year on year was reported to be 4.2 percent.

Compared with the month before Finland's economy grew by 1.2 percent in May.

One evidence of tough times is unemployment, which continues to be a hard thing for the weak economy to manage. Nearly half of the unemployed in Finland consider that it is very hard to keep and manage a job, writes the Finnish daily, Helsingin Sanomat.
