Sweden has always been classed as a human success story where it has always been described as having an efficient social economy and welfare system that support all - in principle. Therefore in such a country of 9 million people, income inequality should not be observed. Yeah? Lies.

That is no longer true - as more people find themselves in area where there is huge incomes inequality with many young people having no money at all to spend on basics. The proportion of young adults who have no personal income has increased by 50 percent in recent years.

In 2005, eight percent of people in the age group 20-34 years roamed the country with no income of their own. In 2010 the figure was 12 percent. The proportion of young adults who have no personal income thus increased by 50 percent over the period of five years, according to Swedish television.

The figures also show that in 2005 there were many who had a monthly income, before tax of between Skr10,000 and skr20,000 but also there is a large group who earned very little.

In 2005 there was a large hump in the middle of the graph of the distribution of income among the young. That hump been pressed pressed that today instead of a growing hump, the statistics in 2010 rather showed a pit. Many people in the group now earn around Skr25,000 per month, a few about Skr30,000 and some even above Skr 40,000.

In an interview on Swedish television on Sunday evening, Swedish premier, Fredrik Reinfeldt accepted that, there is a growing problem with low-income distribution among the young. It is evident that employment rates among the youths in Sweden is a great problem so the prime minister pointed to two factors responsible for the rise on weak income growth

People in the age group 20-34 years who have no income at all have doubled in recent years because, according to Fredrik Reinfeldt, incomplete education. He proposes that  the Swedish school system is being restored to its  past glory.
In addition, the second factor is that young people do not accept contain jobs. Some of these jobs go instead to foreigners.

Other other reason is that there is a large number of asylum seekers in the country where "we have a very high number that is now in asylum process - up to 40,000 a year," said the PM adding that many of them are children, or rather teenagers, who come in the country with no education to the standard needed in Sweden.

The prime minister said of the high youth unemployment in Sweden, determined to be higher than the EU average, that  that the government has done much to reform the  Swedish school system and that it will take time before it takes effect, " and pointed out that 18,000 additional training places is being provided for the next year.
