Putting more money in their pockets as Seven billion krona into the pockets of the Swedes

Tuesday, 07 August 2012
Nearly a million Swedish  people will have a share nearly Skr 7 billion, reward for over paying their taxes during the last financial year. Therefore, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, the tax refund for those employees who declared on paper will go back into their pockets.

Could this assist in boosting some shopping of it will go directly into savings. It is a known fact that the retail sector is struggling given how the sector is recording increasing number of bankruptcy.

More people are choosing to declare electronically and those who did this got their money back in June.
For those with paper declaration, the money will be paid this week, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, provided that they stated a bank account for Tax authority to do so. Others get a money order in the next week, but only if it involves sums over Skr2000. Smaller amounts are stored on the taxpayer's individual tax account.

According to some authorities the tax refund will be going to vacation or saving in the first place, according to a survey by the Bank Nordea in May. Among those who choose to buy stuff with the money, there is a clear gender division. Women are investing in furniture and men in the electronics according to the same survey.

In addition, every third person in ages 26 to 39 years will have to use their tax refund an excellent opportunity to pay off loans and bills.

Not everyone will get back the tax return, a total arrears of Skr6.4 billion to be paid by 661 000 people. However, that is a decrease of 179 000 people, compared to last year.

There are still groups that will have to wait even longer for their answers. This applies, among others to self-employed declared on paper and expatriates. They may wait until December.
