Swedish import price increases driven by Crude oil

From January to February, Swedish import prices increased on average by 1.6 percent and export prices by 0.3 percent.

Producer prices on the domestic market increased 0.7 percent and total producer prices increased 0.4 percent, according to official data from Statistic Sweden

Increased prices on the import market were mostly due to higher prices for crude oil, which contributed to the total by 1.1 percentage points. Higher prices for refined petroleum products contributed to the upturn on the export market by 0.3 percentage points. On the domestic market, higher prices for electricity contributed 0.4 percentage points.
