Swedes in support of an EU financial transaction tax

70 percent of Swedes support an EU tax on financial transactions, according to the latest Eurobarometer.
Among all the citizens of the EU 66 percent are in support of such tax. Meanwhile, nearly half, 47 percent of those polled Europeans, say that the best way out of the economic crisis, is for public spending cuts, combined with measures to stimulate growth.
