Sweden battered by rain and strong gusts with stronger storm coming in

The Swedish people will have a better reason to enjoy their Christmas celebration locked indoors, as the weather will make sure that people don't move around.

Normally Christmas Eve is a dead day in Sweden and on the day itself, most Swedish towns and streets look like a Zombie land. This year though, the weather will make sure that people don't move around.

Those who are to travel around are called to take it easy on the roads, as it can be dangerous to venture out on the roads even in the evening and in the morning. Worst of the weather prognosis is seen in western Sweden. Meteorologist warns of strong gusts, combined with rain and snow.
