Norway lowers interest ratesThursday, 15 March 2012
Norges Bank lowered its key rates by 25 basis points on Wednesday, reports the news agency TDN Finans yesterday.
According to Bloomberg News survey 14 of 16 economists surveyed by
Norges Bank would want to leave its key interest rate unchanged at 1.75
percent, while the remaining two expected a cut of 25 basis points.
Interest rates were approved last December 14, 2011, when they were lowered by 50 basis points.
