Developing news right now:  More fires and vandalism in the suburbs of Stockholm

Police officers throughout the County of Stockholm are now scattered around the suburbs of Husby, Kista and Tensta. The reason is that tension is building in these areas.

Several fires have been reported in these nearby regions of neighbouring Tensta and Kista. Around 22 o'clock Swedish time, the police receive a calls about a fire in Igelbäcksskolan School in Kista and car fires in Tensta and Kista. Also there is reported a fire in Ärvinge.

"People in Husby are on their toes now, many are calling us. We get calls in connection of many young people out there right now, says Towe Hägg of Stockholm police to Swedish television.

Sunday and Monday, saw youths throwing stones at police and emergency services in Husby. Several vehicles were also set on fire, both Husby and in other suburbs of Stockholm in the second night which was Monday. Now it seems to be restless again.
