Massive request for the Nobel Peace Prize be awarded to American Whistle blower Manning

More than 100,000 signatures have been submitted today to the Nobel Committee in Oslo requesting that Bradley Manning, the US military whistle blower who released loads of secret documents to the site, WikiLeaks, be warded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Bradley Manning leaked over 700 000 secret  and classified documents which   exposed what his supports termed U.S. hypocrisy and which showed the roles of the country's war machinery  described as crimes in Iraq, committed between 2009 and 2010. In a film that Manning leaked to WikiLeaks it showed U.S. military helicopter shooting dead civilians in Baghdad in 2007.

Bradley Manning now faces 136 years in prison for crimes that include espionage, computer fraud, and other military offenses. Manning was acquitted, but was still found guilty of serious charges, which is generally interpreted that which helped America's enemies.

Over 100,000 people worldwide now believe that Bradley Manning should get the Nobel Peace Prize, according to reports in Swedish media. Today at 15:00 Norwegian time, some 100 000 signatures were submitted to the Nobel Committee in Oslo for consideration to that course. Norman Solomon, a founder of RootsAction.org, would submit the bundle of signatures that have been drown to the court with the help of a cart being pulled all on the streets of Oslo.

Two stacks of signatures were protected under plastic wagon so that the evidenced would not be destroyed by rain as they were being transported to the select committee.

This is not the first time Bradley Manning name has emerged as on the board of the nominated for the award. Already last year, he was among the nominees, but the Nobel Committee chose instead to give the Peace Prize to the European Union.
This year there are also calls for the whistle blower, Edward Snowden to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

According to the chairman of Nobel Committee in Norway Bradley Manning has a chance to receive the Nobel Peace Prize this year.
