U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Finland

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Finland late last
night and will meet with Finnish President Niinistö and Prime Minister
Katainen (Nat) on Wednesday. She is here on the invitation of Finnish
Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja (SDP).
During the visit, Finnish foreign ministers, Erkki Tuomioja and
Ms Clinton will discuss an agreement on data privacy handled
between the U.S. and Finland. The agreement covers the discussion on
confidentiality of the exchange of information between the two
countries that is unclassified.
Clinton and Foreign Minister, Tuomioja will also discuss topical
foreign and security policy issues. On the agenda includes the
promotion of women's status, Syria, Iran and Afghanistan, the situation
of the international arms trade treaty and the results of environmental
Rio +20 meeting on sustainable development.
