The Swedish Center party flirts with the Green Party on sales of government companies

Thursday, 10 May 2012
The Swedish Center Party wants to sell its shares in the telecoms operator TeliaSonera to release resources for infrastructure investments. The party would also want to work with the Green Party.
"There is great need both for maintenance and improvements of existing facilities, as well as the development of new infrastructure. An agreement on the sale of state holdings in a number of companies SBAB and TeliaSonera would free up resources, "the Centre Party's chair person, Annie Loof and the Center Party Secretary Michael Arthursson said in a joint report Swedish daily, Svenska Dagbladet.

The Swedish state owned 37.3 percent of shares in the telephone operator at the end of 2011.
The Centre Party would also like to expand cooperation with the Green Party in the areas of infrastructure, migration and labour policy.

On the labour market the Centre Party wants they jointly work to reduce complications in the labour market and achieve a more flexible labour market.
