Swedish economy gradually getting back

Tendency Indicator, which measures the state of the Swedish economy, rose to 94.7 in February from a revised 89.9 the previous month. This is the view of the Swedish economic observer organisation, National Institute for Economic research (NIER).

According to a release from NIER in its Business Tendency Survey, the tendency Indicator is now more than five points below the historic average and indicates that growth in the Swedish economy is still weaker than normal.

Other market analysts survey forecast are expecting the tendency barometric indicator to have been at 91.3 in January.

Of the sectors of industry that contributed to the tendency, in the survey, manufacturing and private service sector were positive this month. The results from construction operations and retail were neutral. The confidence indicator for households rose further in February.
