As the Swedish government seeks to boost it industrial activities, there was the talk of corporate tax reduction. Support across the board seem to be one of the boost needed.
Though there was some uncertainty about the plan with some analysts feeling that some of the tax gains will be ferried abroad, political parties are now lining up to support the tax plan
The Swedish Green Party which is in the Red - Green party feels that the corporate tax reduction initiatives in the government's budget for 2013 is a good idea.
The Greens want the government to set aside a Skr1 billion to boost the innovation fund which the industrial can apply for as grants for environmental improvements.
"Since we believe it is also important to reduce corporate tax so that it approaches the average in Europe, it is precisely a good safeguard for Swedish competitiveness," says the party's economic policy spokesman Per Bolund to Swedish television channel TV4.
