Sweden's GDP increased 1.3 percent the second quarter of 2012, working-day adjusted and compared to the second quarter of 2011.
Seasonally adjusted GDP grew by 0.7 percent compared with the first quarter of 2012. Household consumption expenditures increased by 0.8 percent and general government consumption expenditures grew by 0.4 percent non-adjusted. The changes in inventories amounted to a negative GDP change of 0.5 percentage points. Gross fixed capital formation increased by 2.0 percent. Exports were unchanged and imports decreased 1.0 percent. Production of goods & services increased 1.8 percent.
Production of goods increased 1.1 percent and service sector industries grew by 2.2 percent working-day adjusted. Total employment, measured as the number of hours worked, were unchanged while the number of employed persons increased 0.7 percent.
Compared to the publication in July 2012, the GDP growth for the second quarter 2012, both actual and working-day adjusted, has been revised downwards by 1.0 percentage points. The first quarter 2012 GDP growth, has been revised downwards by 0.1 percentage points actual and 0.2 points working-day adjusted.

Friday, 14 September 2012Sweden's GDP increased 1.3 percent the second quarter of 2012, working-day adjusted and compared to the second quarter of 2011.
Seasonally adjusted GDP grew by 0.7 percent compared with the first quarter of 2012. Household consumption expenditures increased by 0.8 percent and general government consumption expenditures grew by 0.4 percent non-adjusted.
