The only real black Swedish politician and current deputy Minister of
Education and gender and member of the Liberal Party, Nyamko
Sabuni, in reported that she will leave politics after the next
election, no matter the outcome.
This means that she would not want to be in politics again after the
next election. After Twelve years in politics she has had enough,
according to the management magazine, Chefstidningen.
“It's time to do something else, maybe business or studies,” said
Sabuni, who was elected to parliament in 2002 and became a minister in
Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt's government after the 2006 elections.
She is the first ever black woman minister to have held a whole ministerial position in Sweden.
