Growth in Norwegian consumer prices

Norway's consumer prices rose 0.1 percent in November from the month before. Compared with the same month last year, prices rose 1.1 percent, according to statistics from the Norwegian Statistic office, Sentralbyrå, SSB.

Analysts had expected that CPI would have risen 0.2 percent during the month and rose by 1.3 percent compared with the same month last year, according to Bloomberg News forecast survey.

SSB's measure of core inflation, CPI-ATE, rose by 1.3 percent compared with the same month last year.

Analysts had expected a core inflation rate of 1.3 percent compared with the same month last year.
