Conservatives are turning
the tables on the Opining polls in Sweden as the Social Democrats fall
to the Conservatives in likability.
Monday, 10 December 2012
The Swedish political scene is gradually getting interesting as the opposition, Social Democrats party starts reversing in one opinion poll in favour of the governing conservatives Moderates. A consolation though for the Social Democrats is that they perform better on another poll.
Latest opinion poll conducted recently for the tabloid paper, Expressen by polling organisation, Demoskop, show that the governing parties and its Alliance coalition (Pictured here) made gains in support over the opposition, Social Democrats, and its Red-Green coalition.
The other smaller parties, Centre Party and the Christian Democrats have 3 per cent support and would go out of parliament if the election were held today.
The Alliance coalition got 45.1 percent, while the Red - Green got 45.4 percent. If the numbers were election results, the seats in parliament for the Red-Green would be at an advantage because two of the Alliance parties would be outside parliamentary accessibility.
Another opinion poll from polling organisation, YouGov for the Metro newspaper, shows that the Christian Democrats and the Centre Party would fall outside parliamentary quota if the election were held today.
According to it, the Alliance coalition parties would gain 43, 3 percent of the votes and the Red-Green coalition would gain 45,1 percent.
With a drop of 1.5 percentage points, the Social Democrats lost more ground while the People's party, increased by 0.8 percentage points and the far rights Sweden Democrats went up to 10.9 percent.
YouGov, interviewed 1418 people in one online panel during the period November 7 to December 4. Some of the interviews were before the latest revelations of thuggish behaviour or the far right party, Sweden Democrats.

Far right
party, the Sweden Democrats' numbers are the same at 8.6 percent,
despite the recent scandals within the party. This was among others, a
film released by the tabloid paper, Expressen which showed leading
members of the far right party, Sweden Democrat carrying metal pipes as
weapons and threatening people with. In addition, another Sweden
Democrat member accused an immigrant looking security guard of stealing
his bag when actually he had forgotten it in a bar. All these still
give the Swedish electorates thumb up for the party whose real major
policy is to cleans Sweden of immigrants and withdraw Sweden from the
EU.
