Swedish traders expect bumper business with the Olympic games

The Olympic Games is in London but the Swedish business people will be cashing on it as if it were in Sweden. Therefore, Swedish traders are expecting a boost in their operation in conformity with the game.

Grocery stores owners are those who believe to make most out of the games. This is because one in five dealers in grocery stores believe that the Olympics will drive sales, according to Swedish Trade Federation.

In general, retailers have on the whole seen a slight increase in confidence after a strong summer. According to the Swedish Trade Federation, this may have been driven by this year's big tax refund and a rainy weather that has made people to go into stores instead of to the beach.
