Swedish inflation rate stands at 1.3 percent – a fall

The Swedish inflation rate was 1.3 percent in April 2012, down from 1.5 percent in March. Official data show.
The Swedish Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.2 percent from March to April 2012 (0.4 percent from March to April 2011).
The CPI for April of 2012 was 315.49. Higher prices for clothing and
shoes (3.7 percent) contributed upwards by 0.2 percentage points to the
increase from March to April. Price increases for international flights
(25.7 percent) and higher rents (0.5 percent) contributed upwards by
0.1 percentage points each.
Lower prices for package holidays (-7.4 percent) and food (-0.7
percent) partially counteracted the increase and contributed downwards
by 0.1 percentage points each.
The inflation rate according to CPIF was 1.0 percent in April 2012.
CPIF increased by 0.3 percent from March to April 2012 (0.4 percent
from March to April 2011).
The inflation rate according to HICP was 1.0 percent in April 2012 and increased by 0.3 percent from March to April.
