Swedish inflation continues to fall

Swedish Consumer prices fell by 0.1 per cent from April to May, new data from Statistics Sweden show.
The inflation rate was 1.0 percent, compared with 1.3 percent in April.
The inflation rate is the average change in consumer prices over the
past twelve months and the price changes were in line with economist
expectations.
Higher prices for food (0.6 percent) partially counteracted the
decrease in the CPI from April to May and contributed upwards by 0.1
percentage point. Further, rises in the price of accommodation (5.7
percent) and package holidays (4.3 percent) contributed upwards by 0.1
percentage point in total.
