Swedish fashion doing well - export record high

Swedish fashion is doing well abroad as export in the sector grew beyond expectation.

Exports from Swedish clothing and fashion product increased - amounted to Skr5.1 billion during the first five months.

That compares with Skr4.6 billion in the corresponding period last year, according to a statement from the Swedish textile and fashion trade association, Teko.

The difference between the various companies' exports are greater than a year ago. But overall, Sweden has never exported as much fashion product as in the first half of this year, according to Teko.
