Swedish export volume fall

Sweden's total exports volume declined by 4.1 percent in real terms in the second quarter compared with the same period in 2012, whereas imports increased by 2.5 percent in volume latest data from Statistics Sweden show.
According to Statistic Sweden, exports of machinery and transport equipment decreased by 3.7 percent in the second quarter compared with the same period the year before. Subgroup electronics, including telecommunications, fell 2.9 percent. Exports of road vehicles decreased 7.8 percent, with exports of trucks fell by 3.0 percent.
Exports of chemical products rose 2.4 percent, while exports of energy goods fell 14.2 percent. Exports of mineral products fell 12.5 percent, while exports of forestry products fell 0.6 x percent.
Imports of machinery and transport equipment fell 3.6 percent. During the group's electronics, including telecommunications, fell 0.8 percent. Vehicle Imports fell 1.9 percent, with passenger cars down 1.7 percent. Imports of energy products fell by 5.4 percent.
