Tuesday, 01 October 2013
The Swedish car sales seem to have taken off in earnest after the summer.
According to the industry organization Bil Sweden's sales statistics presented today, sales increased by more than eleven percent in September this year compared with the same month last year.
The amount of newly registered cars reached 24,388 cars in September. That's according to industry organization, an increase of 11.2 percent when compared to last September.
The most popular car registered in Sweden was a Volvo V70. So far this year 193,000 the cars have been registered in the country this year. That is however, a reduction of five per cent so far this year.
But the decline in the first half is downplayed by Bertil Molden, CEO Bil Sweden, who believe that it is about to turn.
